:The only Sonora-genus snake found in ID is semiannulata, according to all sources I have consulted. They are wildly variable, ranging from multitudinous bands to just a few. (even just one behind the head) Some possess 3 longitudinal stripes, some just one. Some are entirely one hue dorsum to ventrum. I saw one that a buddy of mine caught that was bright pink with a large black spot in the center of his head. (sorry no pic) I was under the impression that they were considered monotypic now too...but I can't keep up. just thought I'd drop 2 cents
