Habitat Destruction.
Why is it that Millionare Developers can wipe out habitat (EIR's are a joke) but a honest, license purchasing herper can't collect and breed species such as c.bottae or zonata.
California has the most expensive Fishing license but they limit the hell out of what we can do and take. If California is really worried about the decline of species they'd limit development and ban the possesion of hybrid herps.
I'd like to say things would get better but with conservation groups like the Defenders of Wildlife lobbying the legislature fortune is not on our side. Not this year but say in the next ten years no Dove hunting, no herp collecting, and no hunting with dogs.
