:The water snake looks to be either a yellowbelly or a copperbelly or both. They are both similar subspecies and there is a large aria of intergration in Illinois. The salamander pictured looks like Dark-sided Longtail intergrade. Hopes this helps, Mike
I agree. The snake is definitely a subspecies of erythrogaster, and not a green.
