That has been TEDN and my experience too.
There is nothing like seeing them in the wild.
Sometimes they have been way down in the moss and I have felt them with my shoe. Other times sitting right out in the open and just looking at you!
As protected as they are now though, I'm afraid to go to our bog to look for them. I keep thinking I will get hassled for just taking pictures.
