Over all, probably still a little early. The trip was nearly a bust. We did turn up a young night snake, and an ugly little gopher snake. We also found a micro-den with 4 northern pacifics,none of which we were able to catch. Lizards were of coarse everywhere. The western pond turtles were out basking in force. We decided to head on down to Corvallis to see what was crackin, but it was raining.
