There was a collection printed several year back, a three part series one about snakes, one about frigs salamanders ad one about turtles and lizards and gators and crocs. It had a county by county range map for every species. It may be a bit out dated but still a good start. There is another "herps of florida" book due out this summer with contributions from all sorts of well-known people including a section on the elusive spotted turtles in florida. If i can remeber the titles of the three voulme series i will post them. I used to own them but they got lost in a move.
