But....you are putting your trust into people you don't know. My point was that you can't judge people you don't know, therefore you are guessing as the whether or not they sent you an accurate sample. There is no way you can tell me that a complete stranger will send you perfectly accurate information everytime, but I guess you're right about a relocated snake however unlikely it is possible. I'm not trying to change your mind and your not going to convince me that everyone in the world tells the truth all the time so I'll keep on being synical and untrusting.......but accurate and particular about the sources of my data :)
:Ok, let's take it a step further if you want to go that route. If you are doing any kind of systematics in the US or any heavily populated country you are going to have to question your data even if you collected it yourself.
:Who's to say a guy cruising S2 hasn't just come from Algodones and happen to have some sidewinders that he decided he didn't want and let's them go on S2?
:Either way you or anyone has the option to use or not use the data. Personally I tend to believe the good in people unless I have a reason to believe otherwise.
