Go to Sears and buy a Craftsman "potato rake". This is the ONLY flippin' stick that is guaranteed forever! If you break it, take it to any Sears and they'll give you a new one. It comes with either a wood handle or fiberglass handle (Model # 7183879). The fiberglass handle is 40% stronger and lighter than the wood handle and cost only around $20.
