Here is a closeup of a small male. All animals I encounter are collected, measured and weighed, photographed, sexed, PIT tagged, blood is taken and in some cases implanted with a transmitter but are always returned to the wild ASAP. Hope you like em :)

:This is a rare snake in Southwestern Ontario. Its an Eastern massasauga. I found 2 the day this photo was taken, this is a large gravid female. I'll post a pic of the other one next.
