:How common are Masticophis and Splendida in the San Antonio area?
:I have been dieing to get out there.Anyone interested in herping out there the weekend of April5-6?........Scott

In San Antonio itself, I don't know. But Southwest of San Antonio in places, the Slendida are pretty common, more so as you head further Southwest. I've found a few South of SA but haven't herped it enough to make a ajudged opinion on that. Jeff Adams (Tank), Joe Forks or Mr. McMartin know that area better than I.
I think coachwhips are everywhere or at least everywhere I've been. I can see 10-15 a day where I work in Dimmit and Zavala Counties...
