Need help with Mississippi Herping

Hey Herpers,

I'm not asking for specific locations but I have a friend coming out from California for some southern herping. He really wants to find a speckled kingsnake. Can someone recommend they right type of area to search? I remember finding them as a kid in Louisianna but that was 30 something years ago.

Any help is appreciated.
