I think that must be Magnolia Gardens or Middleton Place Gardens, these are both off Highway 61 that I had mentioned. One of these, I believe, Magnolia Gardens, has an Audubon Swamp Walk. This is good for herp watching and also was the setting of the 70's movie Swamp Thing. I have been there in April/May- during the mating season and you can hear the alligators.
