Question about Chargers for Lights

To All:
I was trying to figure out the best amperage for a 12 volt charger. This is for the sealed 12 volt 7.5 amp hour battery.
Some people use 500 amperage, I would like to use the 1000 amperage charger. Any thoughts on this issue?
