Sounds like you guys did pretty well.I am from St. Pete and I used to goto Croom which is basically the exit (off I-75) for Brooksville,I used camp out there atleast every other weekend and we have seen 2 Black Panthers in that area,and one a little north of Crystal River off of U.S.19,and in that same area we have seen bears.
