Venom and poison are two very different entities...Poison, as in an anuran, is ingested while venom is injected, in the case of hot snakes. Plus, a toad, woodhouse or great plains or whatever species, is a new world species. Personally, I would get it checked out if you even suspect anything is wrong. If the animal seems fine, it probably is but do not hold me to that. Andy
