NY state, I'm asking Can anyone SELL locally caught species LEGALLY? Can any PET STORE sell a red spotted NEWT for example or UNPROTECTED TURTLES that can be found within their range but is UNPROTECTED?

Can a person (non-pet store, non commercial) SELL, LEGALLY, anything UNPROTECTED within their RANGE of home or sale?
