I just recently became interested in bird watching. I also am currently doing a project that involves salamander species richness vs. different habitats. It isn't anything major, its for a class and a good excuse to do some heavy herping. I also am planning on doing a full list of all herps we can find on the 15,000 acre preserve we have access to. We have already begun our proposal and are most likely to get the grant to fund it.
On another note, we have located a herp that should not be even close to our area. I will give more info after we write our presentation/article to claim credit for the find.
