Anyone in North County San Diego up for early herp trips?

I am familiar with most local geograpgy (i ride alot) in area and limmited spots in J-tree, talquitz, PS, Anza Borrego etc.

Havn't collected in years; my son has become very interested and I would love to expose him to the joy I experienced growing up in So.Cal. collecting.

We are interested in several local trips and then some desert runs.
