I Can't find LOCAL mice at Pet Stores!!! Now WHAT???

*** Sorry guys, but I am unable to find Feeder mice in pet stores around here - hence, I am trying to find them mail-order. But WHY on earth would mice be expensive to ship?? They ship Snakes, Frogs, reptiles and amphibians, so why are Mice so much more expensive to ship???????
