what works for one person might not work for someone else.
things i can do in my colony most other breeders would drop their jaws at, but it WORKS for me in my setups and in my particular group of animals.
Most people say "dont ever move mice around.. they fight and never breed".. well i do it all the time (with my colored mice).. i move males between cages.. i pull females.. i move whole litters and ive never had a huge problem with doing it.. that being said.. if soemone else tried it they could very well loose all their animals.
as far as diets go.. i say use what works for you.. if your mice eat a 100% dogfood diet.. then by all means feed it to them.. WHEN they thrive..congrats!..
if your mice like labblocks.. then feed blocks.. im not stopping ya.. :)
the goal to breeding rodents is finding what works for you and your animals. Once you figure out a system and a routine and a diet, stick with it and your animals will thrive! :)
best of luck
