Wax worms

In my experience they would tunnel through the oatmeal/honey mix. When they do move they move fast but they spend a lot of time in web lined tunnels in the mix. Some die off is certainly normal as long as it isn't all of them, just one or two at a time.

Also, I think you said something about heat. I never bothered with any heat for my wax worms, just kept them at room temp.
