I got my first pair from Petco six months ago and I have seen amazing results. They've produce dozens of litters, I can't even count anymore! Lets just say for the past six months they've been feeding my two year old Sonoran and San Diego Gophers, two yearling San Diegos and one baby! They have emaculate genes, I guess the breeder in my area has some good stock. They are still in their prime and are having litters of 15+ one after another. I picked out the Alpha female and prime male, the female was visabley pregnant so they started producing off the bat. The Petco I go to is top notch, they even get all of their reptiles from California Zoological, so I have complete confidence in the queality of their animals. My friend works there and gives me the inside scoop and I get first dibbs on new shipments. :)
:My original pair came from Petco. Still have them and some of their daughters. I've had great results. No matter where you get them, pick your stock carefully. Look for good healthy animals with: good shape, clear eyes, active, free of any sneezing and without scabs or sores.
:Petcos around the country probably get their animals localy. You pay your money, you take your chance.
:Have fun,
