If you used the URL in the first message to read the original story, there's a link on the webpage to see a video. I can't view it because my Media-player software doesn't work. But you probably can still view it if you want to. I'm willing to bet that the animals weren't being abused, and that it is just another typical instance of the media trying to sensationalize something mundane.
