Do you think I could use

Hello all,
Do think I could use as a calcium supellement, crunched up cuttlebone(make it into a fine dust, then dust crickets). Cuttlebones are an excellent source of calcium, and other minerals... and owning a few species of birds, I have lots of them. There also cheap... what do you think?
