when i sell my extras to area petshops i get:
$1.50 for weanling/smalls (30 - 100 grams)...
$2.25 for mediums (100 - 200 grams)...
$3.50 for larges (200 - 300 grams)...
$4-7 for "retired breeders" (300 - 800 grams)...
when i do "trades" with the petshop its usually straight across.. so 1 small rat = 1 small rat in return.. or 1 jumbo rat = 3 small rats.. or 1 jumbo male = 1 jumbo male. :) it all depends on who im dealing with, and how badly they need rats LOL
i do alot of trading with 1 petstore in particular in my area, i usually trade them teddybear hamsters (black bears, pandabears, long hairs) for diffrent colors of russian dwarfs for my colonies.. so far ive got 4 colonies of 1.3 each and i havent paid a dime for them :) but they buy the babies for $4 each from me.. lol :)
