Ah Ha - I didn't have a undeveloped male hairless - I had a female. Don't ask me why it took her getting pregnant for me to notice....she was in with a male who wasn't breeding ANY of the females who were with him but I assumed she was sterile...not him. Well, that stud's out,and a new one was put in a month ago. Looking forward to het for hairless babies in a few days. It's fun to try to put together the weirdest breeding colony in my classroom - we get snake food, but I can also teach the kids a lot about genetic mutations.
