While the crickets won't necessarily eat each other (assuming, of course, you give them enough space and food for all of them), getting the right size out for your gecko will be a nightmare. It really is much easier to keep the smaller crickets separate from the rest, unless you want to try catching the crickets one by one. :-)
I've gone through this before and had decided that keeping them separate was the easiest solution... LOL
