I'll just build the exact same thing. My only question left on the watering rig is what is "Loop clamp with Screw for 3/16" Flex tubing" I think the loop clamp might be the thing that holds the tubes up above the hardware cloth so the rats cant get at the tubes.

As far as getting stiffed, that is of course a concern. I've got a couple people I know that are willing to buy a couple hundred rats a month which is more than I intend to produce. The back up plan is to contact stores in the area that sell feeders and offer them there. If that doesn't work I'll kill and freeze them and use them on my snakes!
