lab stlye cages with wire bottoms for my "gang cages" and i never had a case of "bumble foot" or any other problem i hear all about.. NEVER in over 2 years..

however i did loose LOTS of babies to falling thru the wire before i realized the females were pregnant and she gave birth.. id say i lost a few hundred pinks in 2 years of breeding?.. its just not worth it!..

solid bottom cages are the way to go, buss tubs, cat litter pans, you name it.. as long as its got a solid bottom!

best of luck

dan
