Yes it is very easy to be "flamed" on a mouse-pet site. Those people can be about ten times more rabid than the most rabid person at Kingsnake. I maintain a discussion group on Yahoo Groups that is for those interested in discussing the genetics of mice and rats, welcomes feeders, and IS monitored. The people on the group who raise feeders (at least 50%) are sensitive enough to keep the most gruesome stuff out of the posts, and those who only keep pets are sensitive enough to know that "snakes gotta eat". There have only been a couple of "flames" thrown about, and I've dealt with those. You are welcome to join if you are interested in chatting about mouse genetics (it's addictive). My site is also a bit informational, has stuff on genetics, on sexing mice, on the birth process, etc. Feel free to visit it. Mousedom Mousery is the name of the site. (click the name to go to it). It hasn't been updated in almost 8 months, since I'm a school teacher, I have summer time to mess around with web design, and the rest of the school year I'm just trying to figure out how best to torture my high school math students.
