Spiny Rats or Rice Rats?

Can anyone tell me if S. American spiney rats(Genus Proechmys) or Rice rats (Genus: Oryzomys) are bred in captivity in the U.S.? So far I'm thinking that they're probably not due to USDA import restrictions, but maybe a lab has done so and has some extra offspring?
