feed mealies as main diet with great results. They aren't that tough to gut-load, just put them in the gut-load mix, crix chow, whatever you use, for 24-48 hours before feeding them to your leos. I always put come of the chow in with the mealies in the food dish so they don't lay there and starve while waiting to be eaten. Yes, variety is the ideal feeding program but when you are raising hundreds of lizards you have to think about effeciency too.
