Are you serious? Climb the glass. There isn't an animal alive that can climb glass besides insects or geckos. Maybe jump but climb? Anyways, you should figure out what size aquarium it is and bring with you more info other than it is about foot tall. Is it a 10 gal, 5gal, 20 gal, etc. Your perception of a foot tall may be off from what a real 12 inches is. Why don't you just get 5-6 dollars together and buy a top from Walmart and then you don't have to worry about buying, making, assembling anything.
