I would like to set up a 3 drawer system for my mealworm breeding (right now I have a tupperware system that is cluttering up the "bug closet" where we raise lizard food.) I'd like to try my hand at breeding superworms next. I've researched how to accelerate thier pupation, and our bug closet is definintly warm enough to keep them happy. This is what I was thinking of: Have mealies and zoophobas larva in one drawer, pupa (of both) in the second drawer, and beetles (of both) in the third, along with pieces of bark which I've read the Zoophobas will lay eggs in. I'd use our current substrate, oat bran, in all three drawers. I'd like to tackle this project this weekend so any feedback is appreciated!
