Record keeping or lack thereof.......

Okay, I don't keep records. This makes it hard to make intellegent decisions for culling, picking the next generation, and 'how much does it cost me for a fuzzy?' type questions.

Here's my problem. All my rats are what you could call English or Irish in color pattern (not really true to either). I move them from bin to bin. I thought I'd be able to keep them straight because I only have 1.5 . Not so. I'm going to have to write things down....I'd rather scoop poop!

Does anyone have a simple method for IDing individual rats, keeping birth records, and bookkeeping?
