...I buy broken bags at my grain elevator, they are less than half price. The brand I have right now is PicoLab, 5053 Rodent Diet 20 (never heard of it before.) I am not going to type the whole ingredient label. Most are rather lengthy and you can get those off of the websites of each brand. The first 5 ingredients are ground corn, dehulled soybean meal, wheat flour middlings, ground wheat, and fish meal.
It has: protein - not less than 20%, fat - not less than 4.5%, fiber - not more than 6%, ash - not more than 7%, and added minerals - not more than 2.5%.
My rats only eat it on weekends, when they get hungry enough to stop being picky. During the week, when we are in school, they get 1/2 dog food and and other foods, with fresh veggies every day and eggs/meat almost every day.
