---I think that someone sent you that from a site like rotten.com or from a medical photo site. It looks like something from an industrial accident and not from a bite from a snake. (I saw something like this when my then 5 year old got one of his fingertips caught in the sprocket and chain of his brother's bicycle. It gives me shudders to this day. A plastic surgeon specializing in hands worked wonders.)
