I have to make my pictures brighter, not color, but lighting, than what I like when viewing them with my photo editor because they are always darker when I move them to the web. I don't really understand why!
As for the color though, I have pretty good monitor both at work and at home and both are set to true colors, so both look pretty good.
The other thing I have a problem with is using different photo editors. At work I have Microsoft photo editor. It is pretty easy and has some nice automated features, but if I edit at work and then take it home, it looks grainy. What I use at home is ULead IPhoto Express, and I get much better resolution there.
At any rate, regardless of the colors being to bright, that is one beautiful snake with beautiful colors. The imiage is clear, so you can still correct the colors.
Heck, you could have posted the wrong photo like I did on the MHD page. I was showing someone how healthy my female looked just days after laying her eggs, and low and behold, I put up a pic of the male instead! No wonder he looked healthy! LOL
