Big National Geographic Snake Special on CNBC Jan 21st!

Hey snake fans -- National Geographic EXPLORER presents a new two-hour special that features those slithering slimy reptiles you love. The special will guide you through the world of snakes and examine your wisdom, fears, myths, and obsessions surrounding these creatures. The show airs Sunday, January 21, at 8PM ET/PT on CNBC. It will re-air on Saturday (Jan. 27) at 8PM ET/PT, also on CNBC. To test your knowledge there will be a quiz during the show with prizes. Details will be available at http://www.nationalgeographic.com. You won't want to miss this so check it out!

Here's a brief description of the featured segments on this show:

THE UNITED SNAKES OF AMERICA: Capturing America's love-hate relationship with snakes, National Geographic EXPLORER takes us on a journey from Pentecostal serpent handlers in West Virginia to python fashion shows in New York, from emergency rattlesnake rescues in California to the latest snake research in Pennsylvania.

ARKANSAS ANACONDA?: Something is lurking in a pond in rural Arkansas... something that doesn't belong. National Geographic field specialist Dr. Jesus Rivas heads to Little River County to try and track this legendary beast. But can he capture the fabled Arkansas Anaconda?

Enjoy the show!
