: Sat. Sept. 23, 2000: : The Long Island Herpetological Society ( www.liherpso.com ) : Will host it's 11th annual LIHS Reptile & Amphibian Expo from 10 am to 4 pm at SUNY Farmingdale College. : The main entrance to the college is off Route 110. Rte 110 connects with Northern State Parkway, the Long Island Expressway, Southern State Parkway, and the other main East-West roads on LI. The college is between the LI Expressway and Southern State Parkway. : It will be held in Roosevelt Hall which is on the west side of the campus. : There will be a judged herp show in the center of the hall in addition to the many vendors offering herps and herp-related wares. : If you would like to consider becoming a vendor, contact Rich Meyer at : www.rmeyer@bccom.com : The Club website will be updated shortly, if it isn't now. The first club meeting will be Sunday Sept. 24 (the day after the show) and the second meeting will be Sunday, Oct. 15. All meetings are held in the Copaigue Memorial Library. Copaigue is in the S. W. part of Suffolk County. All visitors are welcome at all times. There is always a herp swap 'n shop before and after the meetings. The newsletter has a classified section free to members (newsletters are exchanged with a number of other herp clubs in the U.S.). : Hope to see you there!
