Wow! I don't know what shows you're talking about. Here in Texas, most of the shows are run by the herp societies and Texas Reptile Expo. These are all really well run shows, and the vendors are either high-class and generally honest, or the vendors get moved on.
Expos are the best way for breeders and customers to get together. In general, everyone gets the best prices and the best animals. Sorry you've had a bum experience.


: I can't be the only one getting screwed at these shows. I think that reptile expo's are where unscrupulous dealers go to sell there non-feeding snakes. Half of the animals that I have purchased, later died from starvation. I for one won't be buying anymore animals at these events.
