: THE 1999 OKLAHOMA CITY REPTILE SHOW WILL BE OCTOBER
: 2nd and 3rd, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Central Plaza Inn,
: I-40 and Eastern (MLK), OKC.
: This Fourth Annual OKC Reptile Show is shaping up into a
: great show!
: Irene Olier will once again set up her magical bearded
: dragon display! Come and see why this lizard is the hottest
: reptile pet of the present and future.
: We are glad to have Barry Thomas of Animal House,
: Daren Riedle and Paul Scott of Red Earth Reptiles, John
: Crickmer of Reptomania, Craig Howard of Texas Exotics,
: Mike Howlett of Houston Herp Supply, Robinson's Mouse House
: (both supply high-quality rodents), and and much more.
: Bonnie Arnold of the Texas Reptile Expos - see their site
: at www.texasreptiles.com to find out more about the
: hottest shows in the Southwest!
: We will also welcome many new local and regional breeders. We are
: once again happy to have Tom and Beth Fiala of Twin Oaks, the hottest
: cage and supply dealers around, offering their special $1 a gallon reptile
: cages, bark, vines, clamp lamps, and more. We will also have tables
: of books, supplies, artwork, T-shirts, and much much more.
: We will again have a LARGE educational area for the herpers
: of all ages, featuring The Oklahoma Reptile Club, several
: local Nature Centers, the scouts, School of the Plains,
: and famous Herpetologist, Bob Jenni, and his amazing reptile
: displays. Bob's famous Snake Show will be at 1:00 pm and
: 3:00 pm both days.
: Our show is unique in this area as we allow a small amount
: of clean, long-term captive, imported animals. This gives you
: an opportunity to see and purchase animals that are not usually
: seen at the captive-born only shows. Remember, at one time even
lers around, offering their specia: Cal Kings, Corns, and Rosy boas were only available as wild-caught
: animals. We strongly support and promote the captive-production
: of reptiles and we feel that if some uncommon animals are made
: available to private breeders, there will be a better chance
: of these animals being established in captivity.
: We expect a large variety of tortoises, unusual geckos, bearded
: dragons - including a variety of colors and patterns, boas and
: pythons, colubrids, a lot of frogs, and more unusual and
: exotic mammals than ever before (The Watsons of Specialty
: Exotics - Wichita Falls, Texas).
: October 2nd and 3rd, 1999 10:00 am to 6:00 pm both
: days. Central Plaza Inn and Convention Center, I-40
: and Eastern (MLK), Oklahoma City. For hotel reservations, call:
: 405-235-2761. For show information, contact: rgurley@telepath.com
: or tbaum@telepath.com.
: Come and visit - You will have a great time!!!
I will be ther for sure
