What's the deal with California herp shows?

Is there anything going on around the Bay Area? I would think that with all the other cool stuff going on around here that there would be more herp shows. I live just north of SF and I have searched on the net and only found info for a couple of shows in San Diego during the summer. If anyone could direct me toward info on some nor-cal herp events I would appreciate it greatly.
