Russian Tort Question

hi i have 2 russian torts and i want to hibernate them in the fridge. it will be my first time. i want to know if they can breathe with the door closed. i go to school so it will be closed for 6 hours while im at school. is there anything dangerous with doing that in the fridge? i will open it a lot when im home but when im out somewhere then it will be closed because it is in the garage and only the drinks go in that fridge.it will be the second year for one of my torts and the first year for another. umm well any info would be greatly appreciated thx.
