Everyone's follow-ups are sound advise, assuming it is captive born, and hasn't been exposed to parastes or worse. But, unless you know the person you got it from well, there is a chance, dispite what he tells you, it is wild caught (when in doubt assume it is). Step one would be to get a fecal done by a good reptile vet - this will tell you if the problem is parasitic in nature- and have him completely check out the amimal. If all checks out ok there are still a few things you could do. You can try giving it some flagyl. It is used for parasites, but one of its' side effects is it sometimes works as an appetite stimulant. If it continues to fast then you should think about tube feeding it. Now this could be bad if done for a prolonged period of time - some snakes actually get use to it and don't feed - so no more than 2.5 monthes. However, tube feeding can help jump start their digestive system. Consult with your vet as to the preparation used when tube feeding.
