lost baby sav monitor

The only animal I have ever lost to date. : ) I lost a 10 inch baby monitor. He's been gone for about 3 weeks. Still find little poops on my kitchen floor. He's been very elusive, coming out only at night. Once he was under the fridge, hissing at me, but once I tipped it over and dug around, he was no where to be found. I dont' know what he is eating, or where he is getting water. He had very nice bright colors and I would like to recover him. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Right about now, I'm thinking about getting a cat....LOL
