Lost Baby Ball!!

I've kept snakes for years and never thought I'd be in this position, but I have lost a female baby ball after having her for only 2 weeks! I found the lid pushed open in the AM and have looked EVERYWHERE I can think of multiple times. I am wondering if anyone who has found their ball can let me know where they ended up. Also does anyone have any ideas on how long a baby can go without food? Thanks, and I hope you are never in my position...
