Lost Corn Snake

Hi,
Today my friend's hatchling corn snake got out. We can't find it and we have no clue where it could be. We know it is still in the house. She has cats and dogs and we are worried about them. We put its cage in a place we thought it might visit. Is there anything we can do besides wait it out? Any suggestions on where it could be. We checked closest, vents, under the beds, everywhere. I think her aztec is about a month old and had just eaten. How long can it go w/o food and water? Is there any hope?
