:Hey all- my Aunt's juv. fat tail escaped last night and we are at a loss as to what to do. I have hunted down ig's and snakes, but never a gecko! ANY suggestions would be WONDERFUL! He's been gone for about 12 hours now...thanks!! goofygirl28677@yahoo.com
Look for any hints of the gecko (i.e. droppings, sheddings, footprints in dust....) And keep an eye on those areas. Look in the early morning or late evening when it is dark out b/c thats when they move around most. Also, you may want to try a heat mat by putting it on the floor and checkin it in the morning or evening as well...I lost my gecko a few months ago and he was on the loose for like 3 days or so and as soon as i put that heat mat down, the next morning i found him laying on it...
