Thanks Tricia, I tried leaving mice out and water but it seems to have vanished. I got a new snake (6 wks old) and absolutely gorgeous. I hope Morpheus comes back - but I won't hold my breath. We continue to look for him but it is so easy to get out of my flat and into the walls of the building, or into the neighbour, I have given up hoping too much. Its reassuring to know it happens to everyone - I thought I was a complete fool losing my snake after 2 days - but i guess its pretty common.
